Jerry, That makes perfect sense if you are conditioned to uncock your left wrist as a flipping motion. Uncocking of the left wrist is a vertical hammering motion, not a side to side horizontal motion. Trust me, you aren't alone. The vast majority of golfers flip their hands through impact. Once I understood the role of the left and right hands I worked really hard to get over flipping. I started with training aids just so I could get the feel of what the left wrist does through impact. I literally started with a hard plastic comb or credit card stuck between my glove and watch on top of my left wrist. These days you can buy a glove with a rigid piece of plastic in them. Later I bought a right wrist brace to understand the feel of the right wrist motion through impact. These tools will get you about 75% there and are good "feel" devices. Shameless plug but, you can save yourself a bunch of time/energy/range balls by just visiting Lynn, Ted or any of our Professional Contributors. Learning how Not to flip will take every area of your swing to a new level. __________________ Bagger 1-H "Because of questions of all kinds, reams of additional detail must be made available - but separately, and probably endlessly."
