The Australia video of Tomasello was given to me by the man himself as I left his studio on October 22nd 1993. The original copy Tommy gave me had poor tape quality, I actually had to get another copy from Tommy by mail (I sent of copy of that video to Lynn and co. and they did an excellent job editing the 70+ minutes of video into a 9 segment "chapter series"). The 1 to 2 position is from the 10 step sequence drill. That first position (1 to 2) addresses two components....1) Component 10-18-A Standard Wrist condition which is the normal wrist condition for swingers. 2) Component 10-23-C Power Package Delivery Path....the path of the hands on the backstroke and downstroke. Once you learn the drill, you can execute the backstroke sequence per 7-3 with the Magic of the Right Forearm. Cock the right elbow from the start of the backstroke and uncock the elbow from the muscles of the right forearm for the downstroke. As Tommy said...."the right forearm is in complete control." (Tom Tomasello 10/1993 and reference Tommy's 1991 GI interview). During my three day school in 1993 Tommy taught me to use 10-20-B with swinging, since then I've learned that Tommy taught the downswing with 10-20-D (both forearms starting the downswing, reference the Australia video and the term whipcracking in section 9.2 of the Golfing Machine), and he also taught Jodie Mudd and Sally Little to start the downswing with 10-20-C.
