It's very interesting when you use it with other full shots and I'm sure at some point in a round I may need it. One thing the dvd's are getting me back to is the use of the hinge to "create" shots. I'd gotten away from that and was relying on plane/target line orientation with a horizontal hinge for curving shots (on the few occasions I'd try to work the ball). If you have a solid understanding of each hinge motion and have control of your flat left wrist, then even if you're a swinger you CAN use an angled hinge to "hold" a shot into a R to L wind or to cut an approach into a right pin location. A hitter CAN use a horizontal hinge to "turn one over". And both can use a vertical hinge to hit a hybrid that may normally carry 215 and "moon-ball" it to 180 or 190. So many options. Homer set out some preferred compatible components based on hitting or swinging, but boy oh boy can you get creative when you start to get this stuff down!
