Reflections on Destin
First, thanks to Randy for masterminding the event. A lot of long hours, before and during the event, attending to all the details. Randy also played the roles of 1) "devil's advocate" to stimulate thought and discussion in the group and 2) self appointed ball-buster (I'm not talking golf here).

I've had the privilege and pleasure to meet and work with Chuck, Lynn and Ted before. I expected nothing less than the continuation of their respective "professional passion" for the effective transfer of TGM knowledge to their students to which they delivered.

It was both entertaining and educational to meet and observe my colleagues, who were at various stages of their TGM journey. It was somewhat analogous to the classic phases of team building ... Forming, Storming, Norming and finally Performing. We had a few newbies hung up on Storming for a while, but that's OK, it's only natural.

For me personally, the workshop provided additional insight and understanding into TGM. My biggest "take away" is that until I can overlay the new habit of a "flat left wrist and bent right wrist driving down and out to the geometric low point" over my old habit of a "timed flip of a straightening right elbow and wrist", I'm just whistling in the dark. So now it's up to me to "get her done!".

All in all, it was a valuable experience and my thanks to Randy, Lynn, Chuck, Ted, Carey and my fellow TGMer's for an enjoyable time. Good luck to all and keep us posted on your progress.
