It's not the bowing I was refering to, but rather the loss of wristcock starting in frame 6. Perhaps "haywire" wasn't the right word, but he has serious throwaway IF he is actually Swinging. The problem is that the max wristcock contribution to total clubhead speed is attained very shortly after the onset of release, and so the clubhead is slowing too much at impact relative to what it could otherwise be.
