Basic Motion is a Learning procedure but not a G.O.L.F. Swing.

It teaches:
  • Impact Fix Wedge Alignment
  • Centered Hands at Address
  • Extensor Action Take-Away to re-set the Wedges
  • Wedge Alignment at 90 degrees for Impact
  • The Right Forearm On-Plane Motion at Release Controls the Left Arm Wedge Roll Rotation
  • Clubhead Overtaking and Left Wrist Swivel before-during-and after Impact.
  • On-Plane Right Forearm Flying Wedge
  • Low-Point Impact
  • Pulley: Clubhead Acceleration (The last phase of the Downstroke Acceleration Sequence)
  • Left Wrist Level Impact
  • Etc.


Its purpose is not intended to teach Hinging. In fact, its purpose is to teach all of the above, and more, without Aligning the Hinge Pin in your Left Shoulder to any associated Plane. The Left Shoulder, when performing Basic Motion, is a Ball socket and not a Hinge. Eventually, it will Show you that all Impact Alignments (regarding any Hinge Action) are identical except for the Right Elbow Location. In other words, and this is very important, it will teach you that Clubhead movement and Clubface Motion are separate and independently controllable.

You do not want Hinging to interfere with learning the above. You'll learn that Zero Accumulator #3 prevents the Right Elbow Location from participating to produce a hinge. Its important to learn that so when you Begin to Hinge (in other swings), you'll become aware of how the Right Elbow Location influences Hinge Action. If you learn this, then when you add Accumulator #3, you'll begin to Hinge through Impact. So, step one is to learn the motion of the Right Forearm through Impact (Basic Motion). Step two is to add an associated Plane Clubface Alignment.

Basic Motion is Zone 3 Training. Absolutely no Shoulder Motion is allowed, except after Impact. This isolates Power Package Alignments and Force.

TIP: When you use Extensor Action for your Take-away, your Hands will Only move Aft a couple of Inches. They would never pass your right pocket. But during the downstroke, you'll become acutely aware of the great distance your right forearm must move to reach your Impact Alignments.
