Seems like too much spin Thinking plus.. I think your right..
The ball landed and checked up like a pitching wedge even I am using an Stiffed v2 tipped an inch. Though the carry is really easy to get long...
Will get myself fitted with titleist soon.

I assume you are talking driver shaft.
Are you 100% sure you are not flipping it at all?
Loft and clubhead?

If it is stopping on a dime with that combo I would think there is probably some flip there.
Have you been on a launch monitor?
Either way a heavier stiffer shaft will lower the spin and probably be easier to control...lighter one may work for you though...weight is really a feel thing. Swing weight may be a bit off with a shaft that light, but that can be fixed!

A good launch monitor session with a qualified fitter will give you a pretty good picture of what is going on. It does sound like you are generating a bit too much spin, but you'll find out for sure. I'm guessing (as if I was qualified to make such a guess ) that you will end up with a shaft more in the mid to high 60 grams (maybe low 70s). It will probably be a little lower torque to tone the spin down.
Actually if you like the V2 feel, it might work out well in the next heavier version. As you go up in weight with the V2, the ball flight will come down a bit and the spin should as well (a little lower torque value in the heavier weights). If you can get that without the boardy feel some low torque, tip stiff shafts have then you should be in good shape. Your fitting will help you decide what is best. Good luck!

Thanks Tool.. Will check my swing again, if i can get my video to work..I know my error is mostly OTT and cut and duck hook if I flipped my wrist.
Thanks Steph, I will try lower torque.. I did not have any problem with lower torque 75S v2 905R, however, that trajectory is not forgiving for me, much too low . I read that you got a 7 * or so on a 55 V2 S.... and Lorena ocha uses a 7.5 G5 with her diamana 55 S. thats why I was so keen to try out the 55 gram ... Its easy to have long carry, but easy to overaccerate or go out of plane as well.

It is an 8* SMT Spectrum. Remember though that I don't generate the kind of swing speed you do. I only crank up to ~95 (on a good day) or so. I get away with the 8* because I naturally launch high (maybe some kind of compensation in my stroke, but don't know for sure). I do know for sure that I have a tendency to hang back on my right side just a touch which would help explain the higher launch. Have fun with the fitting and LM session. They are always interesting affairs.

The diamana 55 is in a class by itself. One of the few/only shafts that can handle a high swing speed at that weight. They are way too expensive IMO.

So far Steph... all the 55 V2 shaft I play have higher launch than usual. I have similar experience in a R5 55v2 as well. How I wish Jeff Hull is here to fit me .
well , trying 65 grams Graman 540UL on `10.5 driver atm... hope it works.

I just stuck a Graman 540 "Limey" on a 10.5 Bridgestone J33R head. I've heard nothing but good things about this shaft. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to wait till June before it gets warm enough to hit it here in Chicago.
