A "bad " swing but superior control the Plane and hinge action is much more important ... Right? Its not a game of ballstriking, the one that does the least mistake and get closer to the hole , and into the hole with least stroke wins.
You can be a JIM FURYK and beat everybody's a$$. Thats golf, and thats why I love it.

Latest incubator: Finally appreciate why Hogan wrote 19 pages on GRIP. I bet he could write another 40 pages.
How much of all them contortions do you reckon are result of his grip type?
Check out Boo . . . what do y'all think about differences/similarities in this motion vs. Zach?
Zach's grip type is a key factor in defining the rest of his pattern, as is true of all patterns IMO. It is one that is very 'clubhead control' oriented, and one which is a good example of why clubface control is seen as being in the arms lane.
Zach's pattern is much closer to body control, vs hands control. Great for distance and trajectory control with wedges (Venturi), as long as the "mind is in the hands", per Ben Doyle's quote.

Zach just won again with a very stong grip. What are the major elements in his pattern that prevent him from hooking it off the planent? Open stance, outside in swing, horizontel hinging, ?????
