Thanks, hg. To answer your question, yes and no. Yes, I see some bending in the first frame, but it's opposite of what I thought a (radially) prestressed shaft would look like. I've seen numerous pictures of the shaft stressed by centrifugal force, where from a face-on view it looks bent like this-- "(". I just expected that with a hitter it would look more like this-- ")". Choi's shaft looks a lot straighter than most. Maybe that's the net result of the two forces for hitters?
