Sam was interlock? I didnt know that. That makes it Sam, Jack, Tiger and myself, well that I know of so far anyways. Who's the weak link in that foresome?

In regard to his left wrist throw, if you ever get a lesson on this particular Release Trigger from Yoda he'll tell you about Sam likening it to tossing apples off the end of a stick. You wont find that in golf Digest, I dont think. Priceless.

Sam used an overlap grip 10-1-A, but Sarazen used the interlock.

BTW, there is a nice interview with the Squire on Golfer's Nation. http://jimmclean.com/GolfersNation/T...0/Default.aspx

Thanks for the heads up Drew, Im really enjoying those interviews. I met the Squire many moons ago when my family was vacationing down on Marco Island. He was very friendly as I recall and wearing his golfing plus 2's and a pair of those old Etonics that weighed about 20 lbs each.

Whip,

Turn to page 26 in "How to Play Golf" and page 31 of "Natural Golf (paperback edition)". In both cases, Snead demonstrates the overlap or Vardon grip.
