Tell me what you see the left wrist doing at 0.12 - 0.13.
Well Sir, that looks like a Finish Swivel of the Flat Left Wrist back onto the Inclined Plane to my eye.
I can admit to not doing that when in the sand.
Thanks for this
Ob
PS What about Hinge Action? Does he employ Horizontal (albeit with a rotated grip/face) for all shots? What about a little Vertical Hinge cut shot for a short sand shot?

I see a left palm remaining 'down' into the Finish, i.e., left hand remaining in its original grip position as the right hand passes.

I must admit to being confused. When you say "down" , "in its original grip position" are you referring to a Pause Minor Basic Stroke type deal. Scooting (another S word) the club head ahead of the Hands intentionally but without a breaking left wrist ......which'd be Throwaway? Horizontal Hinge and Pause , like the photo in the book?
The Pause would present the bounce of the sand iron rather than send the front edge of the blade into the sand like a knife. Especially if the Grip or face is Rotated open.
