Sean Elliott, age 13, is a student of LBG Pro Contributor Bill Castner, PGA, and a recent attendee of a private Lynn Blake Golf Academy arranged by Bill. He this Sunday won the 13-15 age division of the two-day Allstar Junior Golf Tour event at the Duke University Course, Durham, North Carolina.

Sean was tied for the lead coming to the last hole, a 440-yard monster par 4 he simply cannot yet reach in regulation. Digging deep, he wedged his third to the green and sank the putt for the win.

Sean is no stranger to winning: He is the current New Jersey Junior Champion in his age group.

As he was in 2005.

And 2004.

And 2003.

And 2002.

Sounds like he has it all in place for a solid future - short game, guts and nerve, alignments must be good too - just got to sit tight and wait for that teenage growth spurt! Key is not to rush for distance ... at least until you wait and see what nature has given you.

Hope successful team continues - Sean sounds like he knows what he is doing!

Right you are, Alex. You had come over (from Scotland) for the week, and Martee had come down from North Carolina to meet you personally. We had worked Thursday and Friday, November 16-17. Bill Castner's group of four came in for a Saturday-Sunday session that weekend. We began with a 7:30 a.m. breakfast at the Cracker Barrel; had a 'ground-school' session at the adjacent hotel; then headed over to the Swamp to apply the principles. We were still hard at it as night fell that first evening, and we worked under the lights. It was more of the same on Sunday until flight schedules demanded that things draw to a close.

I remember you coming down from your practice area and spending some time with us. Also, that terrific demonstration you put on with your new Basic, Acquired and Total Motion.

Ka-BOOM!!

Sean made a return trip on December 9th, and Bill attended our December 11-13 LBG Hombre Golf Academy For Professionals in Panama City Beach, Florida. Bill has taught Sean from Day One, and I am privileged to have been called to contribute to this on-going success story.
