John - as I stated at the beginning of the post, I think these are great swings. Only trying to learn the feels / thought process you go thru to accomplish what you do.
IMHO, I favor a slightly stronger grip over one more 'on top' of the club.
I would like to believe that one could reach a state that the backswing motion is simply the result of getting to a point where you can drive 'down and out' rather that trying to accomplish certain positions.
As a former exempt player on the SR PGA Tour (93 & 98 )and just a casual player now - I am still trying to get better.
Keep up the great work and best wishes for success when you resume playing - enjoy the young ones ( I am on grandchild # 11).
