I generally take the yardages from my practice round as well as difference in slope and write it down, then when i get there the next day for a round, i have very similar yardages ( depending on the pins ) to what i have written down and seem to be within 2 to 3 yards of the correct distance.

To be as accurate as possible (because of the 3 yd varience when shooting a flag); during your practice round I suggest you take three readings and average them out.

Sorry for being so slow with this, I coudn't get the site to come up while I was in N Y (Barklays) this week
