Yes, the motion takes place on the 10-5-E Plane Line, which is "cross-line" to the Line of Flight. This gives you not only an inside out impact, it is an inside out stroke because the 10-5-E Plane Line actually crosses the Line of Flight. Check out paragraph one of 2-J-2.
The Swinger and the Hitter both swing On Plane -- but the Hitter's Plane is "less left" relative to the Line of Flight.

Thanks for indulging me in this. If you were actually going to identify the Angle of Approach Delivery Line on the ground, you could paint a line from the lowest point in a divot to where the ball rested right? This line would be Closed to the LOF, but "not that closed?" So we're not talking that far out in "right field" correct?
