Being shorter then the average TMG'r I've always had a flatter plane and for the longest time I've been told to get more upright at the top. I remember a post in which Yoda had mentioned that it didn't matter what the plane angle was, so long as the plane line stayed constant. So your experiments are very interesting to me. You are correct about Yoda's commentary about plane angle. Look at Jack vs Hogan vs Snead. One was steep, the other flat, the other in the middle. But ALL had perfect alignments supporting their chosen plane angles.
