Airair, Im canadian so I can switch teams with ease. Ah something about that doesnt sound quite right? Not sure what.

As much as I loved Seve I used to cheer for the US in those old Ryder Cups. Now Mike Weir plays for the other side in the Presidents Cup which has me all confused. Who do the Euro's cheer for in that one?

I didnt know Norway was in Europe. When did that happen? And when are you going to take your flag off of our island in the north? Our island yes.

I think most Europeans cheer on the international team, but I may be wrong. Did you think Sweden was outside Europe too? That's our neighbor country in the east.

Just sounds a bit like self protection on the PGA Tour side. Its happened before with other players. Now if it was a US player with Rory's record they would have won it correct?

I have never heard of this Island. But you are thinking of Denmark, not Norway. But in case you are interested - both Greenland and Iceland were Norwegian until 1814, when Denmark got them by a mistake when Denmark and Norway split up and Norway was given to Sweden (until 1905) as a result of the Napoleon War.

My friends, I had not intended to discuss this controversial subject at this particular time. However, I want you to know that I do not shun controversy. On the contrary, I will take a stand on any issue at any time, regardless of how fraught with controversy it might be. You have asked me how I feel about whiskey. If when you say whiskey you mean the devil's brew, the poison scourge, the bloody monster, that defiles innocence, dethrones reason, destroys the home, creates misery and poverty, yea, literally takes the bread from the mouths of little children; if you mean the evil drink that topples the Christian man and woman from the pinnacle of righteous, gracious living into the bottomless pit of degradation, and despair, and shame and helplessness, and hopelessness, then certainly I am against it.

But, if when you say whiskey you mean the oil of conversation, the philosophic wine, the ale that is consumed when good fellows get together, that puts a song in their hearts and laughter on their lips, and the warm glow of contentment in their eyes; if you mean Christmas cheer; if you mean the stimulating drink that puts the spring in the old gentleman's step on a frosty, crispy morning; if you mean the drink which enables a man to magnify his joy, and his happiness, and to forget, if only for a little while, life's great tragedies, and heartaches, and sorrows; if you mean that drink, the sale of which pours into our treasuries untold millions of dollars, which are used to provide tender care for our little crippled children, our blind, our deaf, our dumb, our pitiful aged and infirm; to build highways and hospitals and schools, then certainly I am for it.

We outsmarted them diplomaticly. But there was some danger of war, but the Swedes found out that is wasn't worth it, so they let us go in peace. We have been sort of friends since (and almost speak the same language).That goes for the Danes as well, but they talk funny - like they have a warm potao in their throat.
