In the early days before the fog was lifted by Lynn, the word 'sustain' gave me a bad concept. It meant to me that I had to keep something, namely accumulator lag. I didn't understand that it was keeping a constant pressure against the shaft. I thought it was keeping the clubhead behind. It was a bad concept for me.
Me too YodasLuke!!!
When I first got into golf, I thought lag was accumulator #2 maxed out! Boy was I ever wrong!
Still working on it!! But at least I am on the right path. No more holding the wristcock forever!
I held the #1 accumulator, and tilted to the right so my right shoulder could get closer to the ground. I also held the #2 accumulator. I was a wreck. But, hitting was the answer for me.
For me wristcock isn't 'held', extensor action holds it for me for as long as is necessary so my full attention can be focused on lag pressure.
Does anybody else feel this?
Thanks
I would be hesitant to say what you shoul/shouldnt feel - but if it works, it cant be wrong, right?
