A very fun and helpful way to practice on the course is to play two balls and play a one man 2-ball select shot game. Hit two drives, then take the best drive and hit two balls from that location, etc. Repeat until you are on the green and hole out.

You will be amazed how good the "second guy" is. You will also find the "first guy" starts getting better too.

How low can you go in this format?
What happens when the 'second guy' has a bad day too???
A favourite phrase that I often use is 'any idiot can get it right the 2nd time around' as I see my 3rd shot off the tee split the fairway.
