Horizontal Hinging

I believe you are supposed to apply angled hinging when hitting correct? Does that happen on it's own or do you have to make it happen? If I'm hitting the ball left, could I be hitting but using horizontal hinging? I'm pretty new to TGM but I'm trying to learn. Thanks

The uncompensated hinge action for hitting is angled hinging. It should happen if you keep driving that right arm. And, yes you could get it going left with horizontal hinging.

I find hitters who start hitting the ball left are not getting to both arms straight.

They are starting to come back "in" before full extension.

Work on chips/pitches getting to both arms straight. Then take a full shot doing the same.
