if aft is on a clock from 12 - 6 where ( i.e. 2 oclock) are the left thumb and the #3 PP at address with a square clubface and a vertical clubshaft ??????????? it seems to me pp #1 is directly--(3 oclock to the motion) on plane going down on plane to impact and PP #1 is directly opposed to the motion through impact-at separation ??Isthat true ??

Forget about the clock- think of the shaft as a rectangle with the long sides on the left and right and short sides top and bottom- like a yard stick. Pp1, 2 and 3 would line up on the right side of this yard stick. To some pp1 will "look' like it is more on top of the shaft but remember the hands reflect the clubface, not the shaft.
