I'm trying to get rid of a big lurch towards the target with my lower body on the downstroke.
Any drills worth working on to promote more of an around motion rather than an excessive hip slide? Effectively i'm getting too much axis tilt.

Switch a "Magic of the Right Forearm" downstroke and you won't have worry about hip slide, it will be automatic...see the first Tomasello video on the Pivot...chapter 1 video from Australia.
