mac told me once that at his best seve coud play agaisnt anyway out of a bunker with there sw and his 6 iron and he would win. He had such great feel and control of the loft of his clubs. He also had some very interesting intricacies that you wouldn't notice unless brought out to you that made his contact and loft on the club extremely repeatable. Ive only seen seve's short game on video but mac broke it down and can do it and teach it exactly best short game pattern i have ever seen many advantages to it.

Not enough is made of how great Seve was - where is the video footage of the 1983 bunker shot , 3 wood in Ryder cup to get a half... was it against Wadkins?? Great player!!! lids should know his name more.
I have heard people talk about bending the left elbow to decrease the lever length for softer shots... or something like that...Seve was awesome player
