When I was 19 there were no PGM classes, internet and Homer hadn't given his first Master Class. And...I had walk to my A.I. classes, in the middle of winter, barefoot, uphill both ways and we liked it.
Actually the class in the middle of winter was in Southern California, but I did have to walk from the elevator to the class, stopping for coffee and breakfast in the lobby on the way. The good old days.
You neglected to mention the long hard trek to Benihanna's, for the late night study sessions.
It is a good thing the hotel and Benihanna's were in the same parking lot. I was getting tired walking to class . Funny how we were there every night and never ate once.
Actually, becoming and A.I. at 19 is pretty impressive , especially because you are from New England.
