Would make more money out of the machine putting in a bar and running a book on how many times it takes a punter to make contact

This pro has figured out how to make $$$ teaching golf. During the 90's he would give 12 to 20 1/2 hour lessons per day, and he got more than most for his rate. He had a waiting list. Taught...PIVOT/PLANE/LAG...
I imagine 99% of all golfers having the ball pulled 99% of the time. A huge threat to the driving range market!

George Kelnhoffer is highly regarded in Georgia as one of the top teachers in the state. He is similar to Homer in that he will research something until he knows for certain it is true, or is the best he can find. He is really a nice person and really smart.
George was one of the first people to really grasp The Golfing Machine and its core concepts. Many of his Proteges have gone on to be excellent instructors in their own right. Ted Fort, Danny Elkins, Chris Asbell, Puggy Blackmon (Duvals Coach) and many others have learned from George. I have spent some time with him and always came away knowing a little more than before. I know there are more out there, I just don't know them as well, maybe Ted does.
George was using video and computers long before many of us knew what they were. His "hot lines" technology is very good. Like many other "aids" it can be misapplied. Instead of the ball drop a teacher or student may choose to use the beep or light option. I am like many people in that I do not want the ball to go away, but the beep is a great option. I think this technology can be very useful is used correctly.
The company name is accelerized golf and I believe they were selling systems for $25,000. If you search google you can find out more. One of George's Students, Oswald Drawdy, is handling that side of the business.
