The amazing thing about Lynn and Ted and crew, and I bet this will also apply to the other AI's coming in for this event...they love to teach and improve the 50+ year old 10-12 Hcp like me at least nearly as much as they love to apply TGM principles to a Brian Gay, or a good scratch amateur.

After all this is what Homer was really all about to a great extent, is it not?
Amateur Contingent . . .

Rally 'Round!

Had a call this afternoon from a 62-year old Atlanta attorney who had gotten sick and tired of his life-long 20++ handicap. We began our work -- once a week -- five weeks ago. On this particular Sunday, with his buddies at Sea Island, he had just shot 46-40, with a 3-putt at the last.

Is he excited?

You bet!

Am I excited?

You bet!

I'll introduce you to him at Cuscowilla!

Drew is going, I am out. That is all I have to hear after every basic motion shot...."Did the Yankees make the Playoffs"....

Can't make it this year, life is just too crazy right now. However, at some point in the future.......
Any chance someone could take a group photo so we can start to put together some names and faces???
Take heart ,Rich, AKA Swing Northto South----you could be here in Pittsburgh with our AA baseball team trying to play major league ball and tying the record with 16 losing seasons in a row. Then again, it's now football season with hockey season to follow.
Have fun everyone. Take lots of photos.

Thanks for your call today, Bill. This event is moving rapidly to a 'sold out' status.

TO All LGB Members: This is a live report from Cuscowilla where I am with Lynn and a member of the Philadelphia PGA section looking to take his game to the next level. We arrived today in Atlanta where we were greeted by Yoda live and in person and transported to Cuscowilla. The ride was priceless and left us yearning to reach the practice grounds. Upon arrival I was instantly in love with this place. For those that have signed up to attend The Homecoming you are in for a treat. For those on the fence it is time to get off and sign up. This place is paradise!!!!! The accommodations are first class, the people are first class, the practice facility is first class, the restuarant is first class.. The only problem I see is that you will not want to leave this place.

With Regrets
Wish I could make this historic and fun event. Unfortunately, my schedule does not allow me to attend.

It would be great to meet some of the people and put some names and faces to such informative posts. Drew and Rob will miss your comraderie and the chance to share knowledge over a few beverages. If we had one more New Englander maybe we could get Yoda to change the motto from "A Gathering of Eagles" to "A Gathering of Patriots"

Drew there must be a Jack in the Box and a Benihana real close to the site, for you and BBax to be attending. Please be patient with those Yankees fans they don't have the experience of coming just so close. It's easy to love a winner, but it takes a true fan to run the gamut of emotion team loyalty. The heart break of "I can't believe I let those guys think they could go all the way", at season's end to the "This is our year" beginning of the season hope.

Seriously, the Yankees have a storied history and have had some of the greatest legends of the game play for them. They will be on top sooner than we'ld like to see.
