Granted the instruction may not be the 'classic flying wedges' in particular the right wrist level, but Homer did describe that as ideal along with the left wrist being flat.

Right Forearm tracing (pickup/startup/etc) is not that widely popular in a great amount of golf instruction either I believe you will find.

In fact most golf instruction of yesterday really didn't address Impact Fix but just address and often stated 'how you start is how you want or will finish in a good stroke'.

Your description of the right hand position places PP#1 on the same side of the shaft as PP#3. This appears to be an ideal position for place both on plane and enables alignments.
