Saturday Night and Sunday morning's snow strom left 30+ inches of snow in SE Massachusetts. After mindlessly shoveling for ten minutes, I noticed that when the handle shovel was in my left hand (using the other as a guide), making a left hand motion, I used a two barrel hitter motion using PP #1-#3 (vertical hinging-only wanted to throw the snow a short distance forward).

When the handle of the shovel was in my right hand, making a right handed swinging motion and better use of my torso, I used PP #4-#3.

But, I got the best results when I only felt lag pressure against #3 as I pushed the damn snowblower down-out-forward to low point.
