I don't think the 2 first shots were particularly good, but the 2 last ones cetainly were better than expected and salvaged the hole.

Par is always fine. The "moral" of the story was that I used the driver twice on a par 4 (with the first ball in play mind you!) That's a new experience for me. I'm glad it amused you.
