shhhhh....maybe winter won't see us
Usually I have Bagger ban people for talking about winter and snow before Thanksgiving, but I'm starting to come to terms with living up north. You're on the right track with your practice aids. Carpet should be fine. At our local golf show, I was able to find some small pieces of artificial field turf that is really nice to chip off of. Here are a few more ideas...

Thank you for the info and link. I definitely need to add full length mirror to the list, along with Taly device and laser.

I was going to look at the PVC pipe option from the DVD, but plane board would be be easy enough I think.

(Sorry about the pre-Thanksgiving mention of the "w" word -- hope I can reverse psychology the weather...)

no worries
I just moved this spring and am now about 1 mile from a year-round practice facility, including golf simulators + full bar, so this is the first winter in a long time I'm not dreading!

Uhmmmm....what region of INdiana, Ben?

I have some cousins near where Larry Bird grew up and an open invitation to come and visit them....I could warm-up there, so to speak, in prep for Cuscowilla during my Winter break! Oops!

I'm in Fishers on the north side of Indianapolis, pretty close to I-69. Let me know if you're coming through. There's at least one other forum member who I'm sure would love to meet up and hit some balls.

Geez, me too. I have sister in or near Carmel. I'd even visit her and her brood if I could play golf with City again. Man, that is an experience for which a person would purchase a ticket.

We'd be driving in the dead of winter and asking for a blizzard or in the spring and asking for a tornado. But the Indianapolis airport is a sweet little place, hmmmmmm..... a bar and a driving range...Is this a great country or what?????
