There you are. Had to switch threads.
You answered in the thread I tried to delete, but couldn't find the delete button. But thanks anyway. I can jump from one to the other. "The rest is technical stuff" Indeed. I'll have to chew on this one till I need to go to the dentist.
To this topic, a really great drill to feel a swinger's load on PP#4 is to go to the top of your swing (with or without a club) and have someone hold your hands in place as you try to move down into the downswing (startdown waggle).
You won't need to move much into the downswing to feel the loading!
Doing this drill will let you feel how the pivot's power loads the pressure between the left arm and chest (PP#4) and most importantly, that the pulling feel is a result - your pivot is doing the pulling.

I know it is true but wanting more distance I try adding more. With all the discussions on forums of snapping the chain, adding drive, sustain the torque, etc I have been struggling with my swing. Today it was 75 in south carolina and I went out to play. Having seen a video of a swing with only the right arm I decided to try "pure swinging". Any rate I cleared my brain and at address just let my arms hang. I made a relaxed motion and hit the the best I have for several months. In fact I was over two greens because of added distance. Went in two fairway bunkers on a lay up shot because my usual club carried 15 yards further. So I am not interested in learning anything more about how to "power my swing", delaying my release, parametric acceleration, CP vs CF release, etc. I just pray I can remember tomorrow today's swing. How about a thread on how to keep it once you find it.

How you sucessfully manage to swing with your arms just hanging there is beyond me - and even getting longer shots. Must be nice. It must be the pivot and CF that does the work, but nevertheless maintaining the concept of a hands controlled pivot!?
