Sorry Mike O, I zapped my comment. I thought it might be misunderstood. BUt I'm glad it wasn't.
so...
I wrote that since Homer wrote to Joe Duffer that the simple image of a Toboggan gaining speed down a hill and doesn’t slow down worked. Granted it doesn't have an Mechanical advantage of two levers or the magic of an endless belt effect (which is best represented as a wheel and axle) but the imagine is a simple image for the common golfer.
I also wrote that I agree that the glossary can be better served with clearer text but not one that changes it just clarifies it better. Homer was right and he did apply his work and terminology to the game of golf.
I also said that I have read Mike O’s posts on every TGM forum that ever was for the last six or seven years and have learned so much for his incubation.
I'm fairly certain Homer Kelley would have continued to revise and perfect his life's work another 20 years had he lived. If the 7th edition ever does get published it will be the last "word" from Mr. Kelley on TGM, albeit 20 years removed.

In addition to the long-awaited seventh edition of The Golfing Machine,The Definitive Homer Kelley must include transcriptions of the three G.S.E.M. classes taped in the last two years of his life.
