Single Wrist Action
" Similarly, Single Wrist Action (10-18-C-2) is most compatible with Hitting and its Simultaneous Release (4-D-0). Here, the Turning of the Body and and the orbiting of the Left Arm causes the Left Wrist to gradually Turn (from Start Up to the Top) and then gradually Roll (from Start Down to Impact). The Bending and Straightening of the Right Elbow causes the Wrist to gradually Cock and Uncock during this Motion." - Yoda

With standard wrist action there is a sequenced release...uncocking and then rolling, correct? When you are using single wrist action do you start the roll of the flat left wrist in a conscious manner while straightening your right arm? I understand that it is a gradual roll, but it seems like it would be like one big hinge action. Help!

Additional query: does the straightening right elbow retard the rolling of the flat left wrist and thus produce angled hinging?
