I have seen it posted that when either swinging or hitting, Yoda has a parralel hip slide, as well as tracing a straight plane line, insted of the normal cross line procedure for hitting.
What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of an online hip slide and tracing the plane line not the angle of approach?
I have also noticed based on videos that Yoda does not use the impact fix as adjusted adress, yet he still aplied extensor action, is there a reason?

I thought Yoda did use the Angle of Approach procedure when Hitting. Maybe Im wrong. Interesting question though, regardless. Ted has said he uses both Arc and Angle I believe.
I think in Yoda's personal version of hitting, he is somewhere between an Impact Fix and a classic mid body Adjusted Address with the Extensor Action turned on but just barely. He likes to employ a lagging takeaway and start down. Im guessing the Impact Fix Address wouldnt be conducive to a lagging takeaway as the Flying Wedges are already formed.
If you can Swing like Hogan, you probably don't do the full Arnie when Hitting. Full Monty maybe but never full Arnie.
I hope Yoda answers this Angled vs Arc Of Approach when hitting question.
In one of the editions (I'm thinking the 3rd) Mr. Kelley talks about the Parallel Hip Slide . . . basically the 2-J-3 Equivalents require the Pivot to comply more precisely the Hip Action/Motion. So you want Hip Slide to be PARALLEL to the selected Delivery Line (or Arc).
