Both Okie and Range Rat mentioned that Hogan had a
double plane shift, coming back to the elbow plane.
Pictures of Hogans swing suggest this to be true.
(10-6-A) says that the elbow plane allows maximum
#3 accurulator requiring earlier release. Yoda mentions
that Hogan used the Automatic Snap Release (10-24-E)
My questions are:
Did Hogan return to the elbow plane?
How did Hogan use a Snap Release from an Angled Delivery Path?
Did Hogans Supination enable him to get less #3 Accurmulator
to perform the Snap Release?
Is the Angle delivery path of an elbow plane a return to
Radial Acceleration/Angle of Approach?

I thought all over here on this site had already come tp the conclusion that Hogan was a 3b swinger pre accident and the same after his accident and even later in the 1960's onwards
So he used the same way to double shift and did not use radial acceleration and had same auto snap release
RIGHT?
Pistol, thank you for your insite. I am trying to model
Hogans Swing with his double shift. Note: I know that
Yoda is correct in saying that the easiest thing to do
would be staying with the single shift (10-7-B) and simply
execute a straight line delivery path (either 10-23-A or C)
down the turned shoulder plane.
What I am struggling with is how to perform an Automatic
Snap Release from the elbow plane and angular delivery path.
Currently I am using a Turned Shoulder plane returning to the
Elbow plane. I am using V.J. Trolio's "Hogan Move" and
Angled Path to Aiming Point, up and out to accomodate the
flat swing. Also trying to use less #3 Accumulater.
Any thoughts that you/or anybody have would be appreciated.

Well my idea my be a bit on the controversial side since i dont agree that hogan was a 3b swinger post accident.
Auto snap release i put a huge question mark on.
I would look at a right hand wrist throw from the top of the backswing down and out behind you ( maintain the bend on the right wrist)with the right shoulder leading and moving towards your left side. This will take care of the left wrist uncocking
By using vj Trollio idea you can create a delayed hip action on the downswing which will delay the throwout and give an angled delivery path
Maybe try using your right foot to achieve this turning it away and almost behind you in a clockwise direction with the feeling of the right buttock muscle kept back behind you kinda looking at the target until impact. Just a feel

Thanks Pistol. I will try the feelings, you mentioned, on the range.
I do not know what you mean by a 3b swinger. I
read 3-B in the yellow book talking about Practicing
and Playing. Do you mean that Hogan changed his
routine? Donn

just my opinion Donn ...he looked like a swinger before accident with the left hand palming the plane and still cocked in delivery position but later he got the left wrist level a lot earlier ...one could make some arguement for a hitter
maybe 12 piece bucket could chime in cause he says hogan's secret was that he never disrupted his roll out of the n03 accumulator

3-B is short for 3 Barrel swinger, meaning he primarily used 3 of the power accumulators
