Starting on the Elbow Plane is a natural movement. As is Shifting to the Turned Shoulder Plane during the Backstroke. In fact,
staying on the Elbow Plane produces an extremely Flat Backstroke and is, in my opinion, an
unnatural movement.
Regarding "Feel," the Thrust remains a Straight Line
effort with
all Delivery Paths, i.e., Straight Line, Angled Line and even Circle (6-E-2).
