As a result, he had a longer backswing, more of a float load, more #2 accumulator lag coming down. With setting the club earlier in the backswing later in his career he had a shorteer backswing, less of a float load, and slightly less #2 accumulator lag coming down. The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far").
