Absolutely, this works, and in other threads that include VJ Trolio, he (i believe) and others say that this is the best way to maintain structure during the stroke; as this is the best way to maintain a consistent arc with angled hinging rhythm and travel. I use a shoulder stroke, and in trying this today the feeling is incredible. Good post!
