How important is this position? I feel that I'm doing it correctl, then when I video tape myself I see my hands being about 4-5 inches behind. I tried correcting it but I seems that I hit the ball much better with my hands behind my shoulder. I have lost at least 15 yards by transitioning over to hitting while feeling better compression of the ball.
