I could see this was vexing the golf pro so I did not bring it to the range a second time as I do not want to be banned. I could see the pro feared the device and he felt threatened by it.

Not to defend the reaction of that pro; but for the sake of peace it might be a good idea to start off by showing & discussion more unusual training gear to the pro first. Doing that might help triggering quite the opposite reaction.

Just a thought.
