"flicking" 10-19 View Single Post #4 10-26-2010, 09:37 AM BerntR Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 981 I basically do 10-19 B. I usually apply a timed plyometric thrust in the down stroke. I start easy from the top. I can have almost have a lunch break there without losing any power in the down stroke. The wrist cock doesn't increase, but the pressure does. It partly runs longitudinal through the shaft, partly at right angles to the shaft. It creates a shaft loading and unloading that doesn't work well if I play with too weak shaft flex. Depending on the shot I shift the stroke more towards driveloading & angled hinging - where I drive down and forward early - or drag loading & dual horizontal hinging where I maintain more of the pivot lag through impact. "Flick" doesn't seem like a fitting word though. __________________ Best regards, Bernt BerntR View Public Profile Send a private message to BerntR Find all posts by BerntR
