I think that for swinging( 3 barrels) the right forearm is
driven ( ie. no active right triceps action to straighten right elbow" and right hand is sensing lag pressure....rather than the right hand pushing in a swing.... what i think Homer means is that the left arm can not push...maybe wrong on this but that is what i interpret.
