jack and flying right elbow?? is that a consequence of single wrist action?

It seems that with an early swivel/standard wrist action you can get your right elbow down in a position to load the shaft at end...all that stuff in 7-3 - right?
I'd say flying elbow is a combination of wrist action and plane angle . . . if you look at his wedges even though they are "high" the are aligned perfectly.

What way is his right forearm positioned to load the shaft though?? compared with Yoda video on " pp3 where are you ?"... looks more like hitter?? UNLESS ( and this is what i guess he does/did) was to get that right forearm in a float loading swinging position to stress it , as per 7-3 for swinger, on the downswing?? right ?? maybe??..

I'd say you can't get too caught up in the "looks" of things. The FIRST and FOREMOST to consider in Swinging or Hitting is simply this . . .

Hitting is PUSHING.

Swinging is PULLING.

The components may or may not "look" Swingie or Hittie . . . sometimes only the player may know. I would be willing to bet everything in Mike O's fridge that Nicklaus is Swinging despite the "looks."

Absolutely agree with you - especially with a single frame of a highly dynalmic motion!! But his elbow position must change on the downswing to stress the shaft in a swingers style surely?? ie a player that goes to flying elbow at end can only stress the shaft appropriately if they float load and get the right forearm into good position on the downswing???

MAybe...

In the Backswing...Nicklaus has great extensor action, look how straight his right arm is at toe up compared to Gary Player!!!

How do you think this affects his flying right elbow at the top of the backswing???
