The answer to your question . . . and so many more . . . is Time.

Time and its tyranny: Nobody has enough; everybody has all there is.

The grocer, mortgage lender and retailer meet their customer in the market place. The negotiable medium is cash, and its pricetag is skilled time.

So, absent a substitute, the giver -- however altruistic his motives -- must weigh the gift against its cost. When he alone cannot -- or will not -- absorb that cost, the recipient must. Or else, forego the benefit.

In this instance, Premium Video is the answer.
