my game for the most part is OK, the thing that has been killing my scores of late is every so often I hit this pull hook shot, usually with the mid irons. The most perplexing thing is I know how the shot occurred ….
even although I think I am setting up to the ball squarely after I take the shot and when I return the club to where the ball would have been the face of the club is closed by about 45 degrees.
When I swing it doesn’t feel like I am re-gripping the club and, as I said earlier, when I set up the club the face looks square!!
Any ideas, please, it’s driving me mad!!
If you wear a glove and are right handed, are you wearing out your gloves on the lower left palm and at the 2nd joint of the left thumb?

I pulled out an old glove and there is wear inside the knuckle of the thumb joint and on the lower palm part of the glove, almost at the base of the palm if you were to do a karate chop, is this an indication of re-gripping?
