standard address vs impact hands
Lynn vs Ted

I think Yoda has explained that he finds it easier to trace the planeline in the take-away when starting from standard address.

Starting from impact hands address has it's advantage in the fact that you don't need to change the hand conditions, just carry back on plane, and then thrust back down plane into the inside aft of the ball.

This has a lot to do with the backstroke and loading as well. Standard Address is more conducive to "swinging back" and "Fixy" address is more "carry backy" since you are essentially loading the entire primary lever.

Also I think fix works well with cross line hitting due to the hinging and the way the face is when the shaft is "pre-leaned".
