I think Homer said something to the effect of . . .the club comes down on the inclined plane but once it reaches the impact interval the uncocking is essentially vertical due to the wrist being "swiveled" into it's vertical alignment . . . but it FOR SURE AIN'T vertical prior to the point that the wrist is swiveled into its vertical condition.
If the left wrist got to vertical too early, wouldn't #3 have released prior to #2? Not good...
