But seriously, what do you expect when a person is told his entire life that he is "perfect" or "special" and then is given special treatment due to athletic prowess. Has he busted his arse to get better and better? You betcha...but he has also been given incredible advantages ALL HIS LIFE.
A wife sees him not as Superman, but as flesh and blood, warts and all. It is different treatment than he has been experiencing all through his life.
