Drivers have 3 angles. lie, loft and "hookface". hookface is the closed or open face angle to the target. It may be several degrees. an application is that a several degree hookface is used to help the slicer. This is not an easy specification to find for "off the rack" clubs
Ps. surprised with all the "D" plane discussion that this has not come-up ????
The Bear
You are certainly correct as to how "Hook-Face" relates to club-fitting... I believe the concept as presented in chapter 2 to relate a little differently in the study of Directional Vectors and the Plane Line. Please see 2-D.
