I have been studying up on discerning finish swivel from the hinge action. The Colin Nealmen videos going through the basic motion, to aquired to total have helped me see the distinct differnce between swivel and hinging.
What is the difference between horizontal hinging or any hinge for that matter and Acc 3. Is ACC 3 the same as hinge action and therefor more acc 3 be also considered horizontal hinge action, slightly less be angled, and zeroing out Acc3 be the same as a verticle hinging.
If one swings with Horizontal hinging and uses a sequenced release then do they automatically use Acc 3
NOt sure what you mean by my signature, But i Swing, try to use pitch basic although do not always get it down in front, utalizesequenced release, tryto horizontal hinge but often end up switting with a bit of an angled hinge and consequently little swivel action.
My question arises becuase i do not know how to descern Acc #3 from horizontalhinging, and also that using a lot of Acc #3 would alsmot seem to me as executing impact as a swivel, not sure how to seperate them conceptually and i feel this poor understanding leads to my uniintentional holding on and interupting the natural horizontal hinging, and I also find that i end up covering the plane line on the follow through insted of tracing it, I think that this is due to the poor understanding off how to use Acc#3 correctly without swiveling through impact and having haphazard clubface alignments

Watch the 2nd "hinge" video in the gallery. Yoda does an excellent job of explaining the differences between hinging and the swivel.
Essentially, in a full swing, there is no manual manipulation needed for the horizontal hinge. The pivot does it automatically from impact as long as you have a flat left wrist at impact and continue to move your hips. The 1/4 turn left forearm rotation for the finish swivel then kicks in after follow through.
I have watched that video and have a fair idea of how to seperate Horizontal HInging, and Swivel, however I am still really unclear about how Acc#3 fits into this and how to utalize it, would zeroing it out equal vertical hinging? How can it be an acumulator be the same as a hinge action, are they the same?
As for my signature, by it i mean taht if the right wrist flattens out, there will be throw away, and typically hit high weak shots, that for most good players will be a hook. Ment to be a play on words, but basically if your right wrist flattens you will have speratic ball control.
